Flex will expand its operations in Jalisco

JALISCO – Flex is building a new 145,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that will serve as the region's strategic automotive manufacturing hub, dedicated to producing advanced electronic components that will accelerate the era of electric and autonomous vehicles.

"Our Guadalajara plant offers advanced manufacturing capabilities, a strong supply chain with global reach and the technical experience needed to deliver maximum value to our automotive customers," said Rodrigo DallOglio, Flex's Director of Latin America operations.

According to a press release issued by the Government of Jalisco, this expansion of operations will serve as the strategic automotive manufacturing center in the region dedicated to producing advanced electronic components that will accelerate the era of electric and autonomous vehicles, with an investment of US$100 million and the generation of 3,000 jobs.

This expansion reaffirms Flex's commitment to the region to continue being the main employer and the largest exporter in Jalisco.

"The company has two complexes, one in Tlajomulco and the other in Zapopan, we are very pleased that they have just committed US$100 million, this means the creation of 3,000 new jobs," said the Governor of Jalisco.
