Gentherm opens US$ 15 million plant in Guanajuato

Gentherm Corporation inaugurated their new plant located at the Amistad Sur Industrial Park, in Celaya, Guanajuato, after a US$ 15.7 million investment and expecting to generate 1,500 jobs during its first stage.

This Michigan-based Company develops and commercializes innovative temperature management technologies for central heat systems, refrigeration and temperature control.

This new 140,000 square-feet facility is Gentherm third production site in Mexico. The company owns two production sites in the border city of Acuna, Coahuila.

This firm is a provider to several automotive assemblers around the world, with over 10,000 employees in 14 countries, such as the U.S., Germany, Canada, China, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Macedonia, Malta, Ukraine, Vietnam and Mexico.
