Goldcorp goes for ‘aggressive’ expansion in Mexico’s energy sector

The oil firm co-founded by the President of the Canadian mining company Goldcorp, wants to expand its business in Mexico during the next years, including a potential alliance with the State-owned Company, Pemex. Renaissance Oil Corp wants to expand its project portfolio in Mexico to around 30 undertakings in the next five years, said Ian Telfer, President of Goldcorp. This Canadian Company is currently operating five crude oil and gas projects in Mexico, and it is the only oil Company listed outside of Mexico, that is focusing exclusively on the Mexican crude oil sector.
