Heineken Mexico allocates US$2 million to projects

Heineken Mexico is driving high-impact initiatives across the country, having allocated US$2 million in recent years to social projects that strengthen community cohesion, create job opportunities, and expand access to clean water for vulnerable populations.
The company highlighted actions that recognize that sustainable development depends not only on the protection of ecosystems but also on the well-being of communities, the promotion of sustainable development, and the preservation of the environment.
As part of this vision, Heineken Mexico maintains a long-term partnership with Fundacion Azteca and GIZ, aimed at strengthening initiatives that connect climate action, ecosystem conservation, and community development in different regions of the country.
Likewise, the Meoqui Water Balance Project, launched in 2024, promotes the restoration of degraded lands within the San Pedro River basin, where one of the world’s most water-efficient breweries operates, with an average of 1.71 hl of water per hl of beer produced.
