Hidalgo Named Guest of Honor for FAMEX 2027

The state of Hidalgo has been named guest of honor for Feria Aeroespacial México 2027, a distinction that positions it as an emerging strategic player in Mexico’s aerospace development.

The announcement was made during the Tulum Air Show 2026, where federal and state authorities highlighted Hidalgo’s progress in innovation, advanced manufacturing, and high-tech investment attraction. This recognition will grant the state a prominent role at one of the most important aerospace gatherings in Latin America.

As guest of honor, Hidalgo will share the spotlight with Italy, which will participate as the international partner for the seventh edition of FAMEX. This combination is expected to foster global partnerships and encourage technological, industrial, and academic exchange between Mexico and Europe.

The designation also reflects Hidalgo’s broader strategy to position itself as a hub for specialized manufacturing and innovation. In recent years, the state has strengthened ties between industry, universities, and research centers, while increasing its participation in Mexico’s aerospace ecosystem.

Additionally, the international exposure provided by FAMEX is expected to help attract new investment, generate high-skilled jobs, and expand local supply chains, reinforcing Hidalgo’s role within the national aerospace industry.

Feria Aeroespacial México 2027 will take place at Base Aérea Militar No. 1 Santa Lucía and remains the leading aerospace, defense, and security event in the region, bringing together companies, governments, and industry experts from around the world.
