HIHO Wheel Mexico inaugurated the first stage of its new plant in Guanajuato

GUANAJUATO - HIHO Wheel Mexico, dedicated to the production of automotive aluminum wheels, inaugurated the first stage of its new plant in Guanajuato.

This plant is located in the Chuy María Industrial Park, in Apaseo El Grande, on a 45,000 square meter (m2) site.

"Its arrival in our land is great news for Guanajuato and for the most important automotive cluster in Latin America," said Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, governor of the state.

For the construction of this first stage, an investment of US$60 billion was made; in the second stage, which is scheduled for 2025, the company will allocate US$40 million,

"The arrival of HIHO Wheel is also an excellent opportunity to strengthen the friendly and business relationship with the Republic of Korea," added the Governor.

During the inauguration of the new warehouse, Diego Sinhue explained that with the arrival of HIHO, the state is consolidated as one of the "best" destinations for investment in Mexico.

During the five years of the current administration, 127 projects have been confirmed, representing an investment of US$6.2 billion, which translates into 47,000 jobs.
