Index Reynosa enhances supply chains

The Index Reynosa 2026 Supplier Expo was attended by 78 companies and approximately 400 representatives from the industrial sector. During the opening ceremony, the president of Index Reynosa, Alfredo Guajardo Jimenez, highlighted the direct impact that such events have on strengthening business relationships.

For his part, Rodolfo Gonzalez Nuñez, head of the Reynosa Economic Development Secretariat, emphasized that this initiative strengthens the local economy by prioritizing regional suppliers.

“This is a very effective move by Index, as it allows the entire value chain—for both services and products—to be generated with local suppliers, avoiding additional costs and strengthening Reynosa’s industrial ecosystem,” he noted.

Reynosa remains the city with the greatest industrial dynamism in Tamaulipas, where the maquiladora sector serves as a key engine driving multiple economic sectors.

In this regard, authorities and industry leaders recognized the importance of continuing this type of event, with the aim of generating more business opportunities, strengthening the supply chain, and consolidating a competitive environment for investment.
