MEXICO — The Department of Aeronautical Engineering of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) is carrying out a renewal of its educational plan, with the aim of adapting to the needs of the industry in the next decade.

That is why the campus has agreements to study abroad for a semester. There are also deals with national airlines to do internships.

“We are working on an agreement with Safran at the national level, and we are working as well so that students are able to go abroad and carry out internships in airports. This is part of the renovation, “said María de la Luz Aguilar, director of the Higher School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (Esime) Ticomán Unit.
