ISUZU Mexico Earns Top After-Sales Recognition

ISUZU Motors de México has received international recognition with a Three-Star rating at the Aftersales Awards 2026, placing it alongside Vietnam as one of only two markets to achieve the highest distinction in this edition. The company also secured eighth place in the team standings at the 2026 ISUZU I-1 Grand Prix (I-1 GP), a competition featuring participants from 35 countries.

The Aftersales Awards ceremony was held in Japan in October. A total of 66 companies were evaluated in the international competition, with 24 receiving star ratings and seven earning the Uptime Support Award.

The Three-Star rating represents the highest distinction granted by the awards and is based on an evaluation of after-sales operations, customer service and satisfaction, as well as the development of service and support capabilities. The assessment also considers continuous improvements across the dealer network, a key factor in providing technical assistance to the brand's customers.

ISUZU Motors de México considers this achievement a reflection of the hard work of its specialists and the commitment of its employees and dealers to strengthening their technical capabilities. Staff training and the performance of its dealership network are essential to delivering high-quality customer service throughout the vehicle ownership experience.

In addition to its after-sales recognition, Mexico secured a place among the top 10 countries in the 2026 I-1 GP. The Mexican team ranked eighth among 35 participating countries, while Gustavo Olguín Pacheco placed sixth individually in a competition that brought together 70 technicians from around the world.

The I-1 GP is an international competition organized by ISUZU that tests the technical knowledge and practical skills of the brand's service specialists. Participants are evaluated on their ability to apply their expertise in a competitive international setting.

Mexico was represented by Jorge Alejandro Salazar Álvarez and Gustavo Olguín Pacheco, under the guidance of team instructor Faustino López.

Through its participation in both competitions, ISUZU Motors de México has strengthened its international standing, demonstrating its commitment to after-sales excellence, technical development, and customer service.
