Italian appliances manufacturer Grupo Elica expands output capacity by 25% in Queretaro

Grupo Elica, an Italy-based manufacturer of extractor hoods, invested US$ 5 million and opened 100 job positions to expand capacity at its plant in Queretaro.
The company conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Queretaro industrial park where it unveiled the addition of 10,000 square meter to its footprint in order to increase production output by 25% to 5 million extractor hoods per year.
Established in 2006, Grupo Élica employs 700 workers in the Queretaro facility which also manufactures electric motors for other domestic appliances.
