Japanese coil spring manufacturer NHK Spring expands in Guanajuato

Japanese coil spring manufacturer NHK Spring broke ground last week at its plant located in the municipality of Irapuato, Guanajuato, to build a new facility where the company will invest US$ 6.8 million in order to expand operations.

La company expects to double its workforce from current 250 to 500 strong once the new premises become fully operational. 

This NHK Spring plant supplies components to original equipment manufacturers such as Nissan, Mazda and Ford, as well as auto suppliers like Rassini. However, at the ground-breaking ceremony word got out this facility will also supply parts for the new Infiniti assembly plant schedule to open in the coming months in Aguascalientes.
