Jesus Salvador Gonzalez, new head of SEDECO SLP

SAN LUIS POTOSI - The General Secretariat of Government (SGG) appointed Jesús Salvador González Martínez as the new head of the Secretariat of Economic Development (SEDECO) in SLP.

In this regard, the SGG indicated that this appointment is due to the permanent improvement in the state administration. The objective is to continue working in favor of the people of San Luis Potosí and to reinforce the areas of opportunity detected in the agency, which has been key to boosting the economic growth of San Luis Potosí.

Jesus Salvador Gonzalez Martinez served as head of the Ministry of Finance (SEFIN), so he has experience in public service.

The new secretary pledged to continue working on the policy of promoting and facilitating the necessary conditions to attract new investments that allow the creation, installation and expansion of companies.

Likewise, with the generation of jobs, so that the inhabitants of the state may have access to better levels of human and material development.

With this change, there are also two announcements of investment by foreign companies, for a total of US$80 million.

Finally, José Salvadors replaces former Secretary of Economic Development, Juan Carlos Valladares, who left his position to run for the Senate.
