Coca Cola invests US$105 million in Jalisco
LAGOS DE MORENO – With an investment of US$105 million, the Jugos del Valle Santa Clara plant was inaugurated in the municipality of Lagos de Moreno, as part of the Mexican Coca Cola industry, which will boost the development of the milk basin as well.
Juan Carlos Jaramillo, CEO of Jugos del Valle, reported that they have the potential to become the largest plant in the Coca Cola system and will generate up to 3,700 jobs. He recalled that the company has more than 90 years in Mexico and it generates 1.4 % of GDP at the national level.
“We want a country with opportunities for development, that is why companies and the government must walk shoulder to shoulder in the direction of well-being, it is important to strengthen value chains”.
Jugos del Valle Santa Clara, produces high quality natural juices and dairy products that are distinguished by their pasteurization process.
For her part, Galya Molinas, president of Coca Cola Mexico, emphasized that only if everyone participates, Mexico will improve as a country and noted as well that communities are a central part of the Coca Cola’s work.
