Kia Mexico expects to produce 2 million units by 2024

NUEVO LEON - In the framework of the celebration of the family day or "family fest", organized by KIA Mexico for its employees, he mentioned that this year they expect to reach the mark of 2 million units produced at this plant.

"This year we expect to reach the mark of 2 million units produced at this plant and we are very proud of the teamwork of our employees," said German Carrillo, Deputy Director of Production of Kia Mexico.

Just in the production process of Kia Mexico work daily just over 2,100 employees and about 12,000 people, considering the different companies that are part of the supply chain of the Korean assembler.

"We are constantly looking for the best elements for the production of our models and we invite those who want to be part of the Kia family to visit our recruitment center or send their data to the corresponding contacts," said Marianela Calderón, assistant director of the Employee Experience division.

The automotive company started production in Nuevo León in May 2016 and since then has contributed to increasing Mexican exports around the world.

Kia Mexico's Family Fest shared the corporate values that the carmaker seeks to promote, valuing people, challenging limits, pursuing excellence, moving forward together and empowering to act.

The event was held at the automotive plant in the municipality of Pesquería, Nuevo León, from where vehicles are exported to more than 40 countries around the world.
