Kuntai Company invests US$30 million in Durango

CHINA - Kuntai Company, Tier 1 dedicated to the manufacture of luxury car interiors, and a leading Tesla supplier, plans to establish its presence in Durango with an investment of US$30 million, creating 300 new jobs.

Kuntai Company, is a leader in the automotive sector with a distinctive focus on the upstream and downstream industrial chain, engaged in the design, development, production and sales of soft interiors for vehicles.

It also holds the distinction of being a global automotive parts supplier, with notable business partners such as Audi, Volvo, GM, Toyota, Nissan and BMW. However, it is its pivotal role as Tesla's main supplier that adds special value to this investment.

The products made by Kuntai Company, which beautify the interior of vehicles, include essential items such as floor mats, inner and outer wheel covers, spare tire covers, as well as seat back motor cover plates, among others.

This collaboration with Tesla, one of the most iconic brands in the automotive industry, underscores the excellence and quality of the products manufactured by Kuntai Company.

Governor Esteban Villegas Villarreal himself hosted Kuntai Company representatives Zhang Ming (CEO) and Zhang Ming Di (Executive Vice President) during their recent visit to China.

This meeting not only solidified the relationship between both parties, but also marked the beginning of a crucial investment in Durango.
