Leoni invests US$27 million in Chihuahua

CUAUHTÉMOC— Governor Javier Corral Jurado inaugurated a new industrial building in Leoni Cable, said project entailed an investment of US$27 million and will employ 123 people.

Leoni and the Government of the State agreed to acquire 3 hectares for the construction of this new industrial building, where through Cenaltec training scholarships were granted for 123 people.

"Leoni is betting on staying in Chihuahua. It is a company established for 20 years in the state and in the last 10, it has invested more than US$80 million in construction and new products, creating a total of 790 jobs," said Corral Jurado.

High voltage charging cables will be produced for electric and hybrid vehicles such as Tesla, GM, Ford, among other.
