Manufacturing sector rebounds in Nuevo Leon

Nuevo Leon's manufacturing sector has had activity rebound during the month of November, which was supported by new orders and a larger volume of exports and production, as well as an increase in staff hiring. The Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CAINTRA) in the State, underscored that the index which measures new orders had a 53.68 point upturn, thus entering the expansion zone. “One of the reasons behind this situation is the acceleration reflected on the exports index, which went from 45.53 points during October, to 51.36 in November”. The surveyed entrepreneurs pointed out that both the number of workers and the physical volume of production increased during November.
