Matcor Matsu opens new plant in Coahuila

RAMOS ARIZPE – The Canadian firm Matcor Matsu Group, inaugurated the expansion of its facilities in the southeast of Coahuila.
The manufacturer of metal structures, panels and seats for the automotive industry arrived at the Amistad Aeropuerto industrial park almost two years ago with an investment project of US$90 million.
Last July, the Canadian group started operations and generated 550 jobs. For this expansion, it plans to increase its workforce to 950.
Daniel Tiberini, CEO of the company, stressed that the results obtained last year, as well as the commercial deal with Grupo Amistad were part of the reasons why the company decided to expand operations in the entity.
