Maysteel Industries opens its second plant in Monterrey

Wisconsin-based Maysteel Industries, LLC, a manufacturer of custom, sheet metal enclosures, kiosks, cabinets and server racks, announced it has expanded its footprint in Monterrey, Mexico with an additional 35,000 sq. ft. facility.
Most recently in the news for its upgraded ISO 9001:2015 certification, Maysteel’s flagship Monterrey, facility is a 100,000 sq. ft., vertically integrated manufacturing plant with duplicate capabilities to Maysteel’s headquarters in Allenton, WI.
Maysteel’s newest facility will support new products and increased production from the current facility in Mexico. It will also accommodate additional electrical/ mechanical assembly capabilities for new and existing products. Neither the amount of investment required nor the figure of job positions in the new plant were disclosed.Â
“Maysteel’s newest facility in Monterrey, Mexico will support the significant growth we have experienced within the last few years” said in a statement Carlos Zozaya, Director General for both of Maysteel’s Mexico facilities. “It will increase our capacity for key processes in fabrication, finishing and shipping, while delivering high-quality, custom, sheet metal products to our customers.”
