MEMAC Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary
The Mexican Women Entrepreneurs Association (MEMAC) brought together 86 members who, collectively, represent 133 companies and more than 4,500 formal jobs in Aguascalientes. As part of the organization’s 25th anniversary, its members engaged in a dialogue with Governor Tere Jiménez to present their businesses, projects, and operating models, as well as to strengthen institutional ties and opportunities for business development.
During the meeting, the governor recognized the contributions of women entrepreneurs to the state’s economic development and reaffirmed her commitment to fostering the growth of their businesses, strengthening their capabilities, and creating new opportunities for development.
Jiménez emphasized the importance of creating conditions that foster the consolidation and expansion of businesses, as well as promoting their access to new commercial opportunities. As part of this effort, she highlighted the importance of maintaining a direct line of communication between businesswomen and institutions to publicize their lines of business, products, services, and commercial capabilities.
This mechanism aims to simplify the process for women-led companies to engage with various organizations and potential strategic partners, with the goal of expanding their opportunities for collaboration and growth.
