Mercedes-Benz reports its strongest first half-year sales ever in the NAFTA region

Mercedes-Benz posted the strongest first half-year in unit sales in its history in the NAFTA region: 193,399 vehicles were sold in the USA, Canada and Mexico, which is 2.1% more than in the prior-year period.
June sales of 34,894 units in that region were also at a new record level, up 5%. Of that number, 28,994 automobiles were delivered to customers in the US, an increase of 1.8% and more than ever before in a June. From January through June 161,960 were sold in the US, down 0.5% compared to same period of 2016.
In Mexico, Mercedes-Benz sold 1,419 units last month, a skyrocketing 52.9% boost compared to June 2016. Year-to-date sales increased 36.5% to 8,426 vehicles.
