Mexican aerospace sector growing with Foreign Investment

Mexico is the third destination that captures the most Foreign Direct Investment projects in the aerospace sector, after the United States and the United Kingdom. For this reason, experts have mentioned that this sector is going through a good time, reaching a trade surplus of US$400 million, according to a report issued by the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT). The aerospace sector has shown progress of more than 15% per year according to numbers that are growing stronger with the presence of important international aeronautical groups, which are located in at least 18 Mexican states. It should be noted that Mexico is positioned as the seventh supplier of the aerospace industry in the United States, so the picture looks positive despite the macroeconomic phenomena that might stir uncertainty into the markets.
