Mexican Space Program represents US$8.5 million in investment

The Mexican government officially announced the launch of the Mexican Space Program 2026–2030, an ambitious project with an initial investment of US$8.5 million, which aims to revitalize the national aerospace industry by developing its own infrastructure and training highly specialized talent.

The program highlights the creation of a satellite imaging center to advance technological sovereignty, as well as the goal of regaining ground in a technological race that for decades has been dominated exclusively by foreign space powers.

This capital injection represents an unprecedented effort to position Mexico not only as a manufacturer of components but also as a developer of aerospace technology and a generator of domestic talent.
