Mexico & Serbia boost trade ties

As part of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Serbia, the Mexican Embassy in Belgrade and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the business forum “Economic Relations between Mexico and Serbia: The Path to Strategic Integration,” an event aimed at fostering new opportunities for trade, investment, and bilateral cooperation.
During the event, Mexico’s role as a competitive partner and gateway to new markets was highlighted, particularly due to its integration with North America, its manufacturing base, its network of trade agreements, and its ability to connect global supply chains.
Additionally, opportunities to strengthen the presence of Serbian companies in the Mexican business environment were discussed, as well as the potential for collaboration in sectors related to innovation, investment, foreign trade, and productive development.
The participation of business and academic stakeholders helped strengthen the dialogue on the sectors with the greatest potential for bilateral collaboration, as well as on the conditions necessary to facilitate the arrival of new investments and trade exchange projects.
In this regard, the forum established itself as a platform for identifying business opportunities, promoting market diversification, and strengthening the relationship between Mexican and Serbian companies.
