Michelle Pérez: New Manager of the Ford Plant in Hermosillo
Michelle Perez has been chosen to lead one of the company’s most prominent operations in North America. With more than 12 years of experience and a strong focus on both technical and people-oriented aspects, she has decided to take on the role of Manager of the Hermosillo Stamping and Assembly Plant (HSAP) for Ford Mexico, one of the company’s global benchmark facilities for operational quality.
This appointment reaffirms the company’s commitment to recognizing and promoting internal talent into positions of high strategic impact.
Throughout her career, Michelle Pérez, a graduate of the electromechanical engineering program with a master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey, has combined her technical expertise with a focus on team development. Previously, she served as assistant manager in Hermosillo, following her time at the Cuautitlán plant, where she oversaw Final Assembly and other key production lines. As assistant manager, she helped the plant achieve outstanding ratings in operational efficiency.
She will now lead the Hermosillo Plant, which is recognized as one of the highest-performing operations in all of North America. For the new manager, the goal is clear: to reinforce the plant’s position as a benchmark for quality and operational performance. Her leadership will aim to continue integrating speed and precision to enhance quality and efficiency in its assembly processes.
