Austrian manufacturer Neuman Aluminium opens US$ 16 million plant in Jalisco

Austrian aluminum components manufacturer Neuman Aluminium officially opened its first manufacturing facility in Mexico at the Colinas de Lagos industrial park, located in the municipality of Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco.

The company recruited 14 workers in order to start production of suspension arms, that figure is expected to increase to 50 by next year. By 2020, once the plant is fully operational, Neuman’s total investment in Mexico will amount US$ 16 million. 

At its webpage, Neuman cites General Motors, Mercedes Benz and BMW as some of its customers but the company did not reveal which automakers will be served from the Mexican facility.
