Nuevo Leon and Japan strengthen business relations

Following Princess Hisako of Takamado’s visit, trade relations between Japan and Nuevo Leon have taken on greater significance.
The meeting recognized more than 60 Japanese companies operating in the state that contribute to strengthening manufacturing, foreign direct investment, and the economy. The dialogue was used as an opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation ties and assess the impact of Japanese business activity.
Global firms such as Kawasaki, Denso, Yazaki, Panasonic, Nidec, Daikin, Tokai Rika, and Sumitomo lead the state’s supply chain ecosystem, with operations focused on the automotive industry, auto parts, home appliances, steel, and advanced manufacturing.
These investments strengthen supply chains, drive technology transfer, and promote the creation of specialized jobs, positioning the state as a strategic destination for Asian capital flows in Mexico.
Through this meeting, Nuevo Leon reaffirms its ability to attract foreign capital, consolidate the presence of international corporations, and strengthen its alliance with Japan—which remains one of the pillars of its industrial growth and logistical competitiveness.
