Nuevo Leon and the US to create a new bilateral alliance

MONTERREY – The governor of Nuevo Leon, Jaime Rodríguez Calderon met with the US ambassador to Mexico, Christopher Landau, in order to agree on a mutual collaboration in security, migration and investment.

Rodriguez Calderon stated that the diplomat is very interested in Industry 4.0 investment, as well as the potential that Nuevo Leon has in the generation of technicians for the digitalization of industrial processes.

He stressed as well that there will be a collaboration between the Ministry of Economy and State Labor, the Representation of the State of Nuevo León in Mexico City and the United States Embassy in order to explore technology investment opportunities.

On the other hand, the governor stressed that both governments have talked about how to stop migration and how to create working conditions for migrants in Nuevo León and the United States through a joint collaboration.
