Nuevo León Provides Energy Efficiency Training to Companies

Experts provide tools for the design and implementation of Energy Management Systems in accordance with the international standard ISO 50001.

The Nuevo León State Agency for Renewable Energy (AERNL), in conjunction with the National Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy (CONUEE), developed the course on “Energy Efficiency and Energy Management Systems” to strengthen companies' capabilities and promote more efficient energy consumption.

The training program was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, the Nuevo León Chamber of Manufacturing, the Energy Cluster, and the Mexican Association of Energy Efficiency Companies, with the participation of more than 50 industry representatives.

The initiative supports the efforts of the company AERNL to encourage the productive sector to adopt Voluntary Energy Efficiency Agreements, through an initiative that promotes best practices to improve resource consumption and move toward a more sustainable industry.
