Nuevo León will receive an investment of US$1.8 billion

NUEVO LEON – The projects announced in the National Infrastructure Plan will come to boost employment and public works in Nuevo León. They will also give more certainty and stability to the construction sector, said José Francisco Guajardo Valdez, president of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC), Nuevo León delegation.

“In Nuevo León we are number one in construction, and this comes to strengthen us more. This will undoubtedly generate a lot of employment and a lot of work,” said Guajardo Valdez.

The CMIC president said that this plan includes investment of US$43 million from the private initiative, of which US$1.8 billion corresponds to Nuevo León.

The projects for Nuevo León will be seven in the next five years, totaling US$1.8 billion, of which US$473 million will be put into three projects for 2020, US$1.1 billion will be for 2021 to 2022, and US$234 million for 2023 to 2024.
