One more Japanese company arriving in Leon

Japanese Company Atsumi is going to start producing high precision metal parts for the automotive industry in Leon, starting from the second semester this year onwards. The first stone to this new location was set, with the presence of State and Municipal authorities, as well Company executives. A US$17 million total investment was allocated for the project, and the facilities are going to be built in the Leon Industrial Park, Bajio, where the upcoming Michelin plant is also under construction with over 50% completed so far. Atsumi Leon is going to produce wheel bearings, variable valves, gears, power steering components, electric parts, water pumps, among others. The factory is going to occupy 1,000 square meters and it is going to have 70 production associates.
