PUEBLA — A total of 14,000 workers at the Volkswagen plant located in Puebla began their quarantine with an estimated return for April 13th, the company said.

However, the company recognized that this period could be extended according to the indications of the Ministry of Health, which reports 52 cases of COVID-19 in Puebla; 6.13% of the 848 cases registered in the country until the last official report.

This plant produces all varieties of Jetta and Golf, Golf Variant, and Tiguan models, meaning seven models manufactured at this plant in central Mexico.
