Queretaro exports 3.3% of the national total

QUERETARO - Exports in Queretaro registered a 16.6% growth during 2022, with an annual accumulated of US$16 billion, so the state contributes with 3.3% of the national total; this was announced by the head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero.

With this result, in 2022 Queretaro ranked 13th in exports in the national territory, with manufacturing industries being the subsectors that registered the highest participation in exports.

The state official added that among the industries that stand out are the manufacturing of transportation equipment, electrical appliances, power generation, machinery, computer equipment, as well as the plastics, food, chemical and paper industries.

Specifically, in the fourth quarter (4Q) of 2022, the entity reported US$4.4 billion in exports. At the national level, for the same period, exports reported US$133 billion, resulting in an accumulated total of US$521 billion for 2022.
