Queretaro offers a favorite FDI sector

The transport equipment manufacturing industry is still leading FDI attraction in Queretaro. This industry captured 29.3% out of the US$811.8 million FDI received in this State from January through September 2016, according to a report from the Ministry of Economy (SE). However, the paper industry surprised during this same period, with Foreign Capital Intake calculated at US$113 million, compared to FDI valued at US$1.2 million during 2014-2015. Both sectors pushed investment for the manufacturing sector, contributing with 59.4% of the US$591.9 million recorded.
