Querétaro Projects Sustained Growth in the Aerospace Industry

The state of Querétaro continues to strengthen its position as one of Mexico’s leading aerospace hubs, with expectations of sustained growth driven by global demand and the ongoing development of its industrial ecosystem.
According to projections from the state’s aerospace cluster, the local industry could grow by around 14% in 2026, maintaining the double-digit expansion trend seen in recent years.
This momentum is creating new demands within the supply chain, particularly in the development of local suppliers. In response, the cluster—comprising more than 70 companies—is working to diversify and strengthen its supplier base in order to enhance the sector’s competitiveness.
The sustained growth is also supported by a robust industrial ecosystem that brings together global companies, research centers, and specialized talent. Querétaro has positioned itself as a key aerospace hub in Mexico, backed by strong infrastructure, foreign investment, and close collaboration with academic institutions.
In addition to boosting advanced manufacturing, the aerospace industry in the state is generating highly skilled jobs and fostering technological innovation—both essential for long-term development.
Overall, these factors indicate that Querétaro is set to maintain a steady growth trajectory, reinforcing its role as a strategic player in both the Mexican and global aerospace industries.
