Queretaro’s Aerocluster flying high

Fuselages, landing gear, stabilizers, structures, insulators, harnesses, components for braking systems, engines and turbines, among others, are the type of products manufactured for the aeronautic sector in Queretaro. Also composite material repairs, complex components machining, thermal and surface treatments, light airplane maintenance and assembly services are offered by providers in the State. There are roughly 40 companies from this sector, out of which, 25 are part of the Aero cluster, an organization that groups together seven educational institutions, five organizations and five research centers. Queretaro's aeronautic sector generates 8,500 jobs and the FDI for this industry was a record US$990 million from 1999 to 2017.
