The Municipality of San Juan del Rio, Queretaro, currently builds two new industrial parks, one of them with national investment worth (US$9.5 million) and the other one with Canadian investment (amount not defined yet), with an extension of at least 100 hectares.

Mayor Guillermo Vega Guerrero explained both parks will be ready this year and they are looking to compete with Queretaro (state capital) and El Marques Municipality.

The arrival of an industrial paper and box production company from Monterrey is expected soon, with investment worth US$71 million; in addition to two Asian firms from Korea and Japan, dedicated to auto parts and to the automotive sector. One of them with investment valued at US$20 million and the other one short over US$9.5 million.
