Reckitt invests US$70 million in Chihuahua

DELICIAS, CHIH –The British company Reckitt, a world leader in hygiene, health and nutrition, is acquiring a state-of-the-art industrial dryer for the plant located in Delicias, Chihuahua.

In order to increase and improve its production in the state, the British company Reckitt made an investment of US$70 million for the acquisition of a state-of-the-art industrial dryer for the plant located in Delicias, Chihuahua.

The minister of Rural Development, Mauro Parada, thanked the company for its confidence in the state and for strengthening collaboration ties to promote the economic growth of this area.

“The joint work is of utmost importance to consolidate Chihuahua as the export platform for this type of products, always with a sustainable perspective, and for the benefit of Mexican families," said the state official.

Reckitt announced that in total, for this year, the investment in the Delicias plant is around US$7.5 million, and it is projected that by 2023 the figure will reach US$15 million.

The British company, with a presence in more than 60 countries, has as its main purpose to achieve a cleaner and healthier world. Globally, it has more than 43,000 employees and is a world leader in three divisions: hygiene, health and nutrition.
