REHAU invests US$25 million in third plant in Guanajuato

APASEO EL GRANDE, GTO - Rehau inaugurated its third plant in Apaseo el Grande, in which US$25 million were invested.

This new plant provides 200 new jobs, consolidating a 30-year history in Guanajuato.

The company is of German origin, with headquarters in Switzerland and operations in Germany, focused on the transformation of polymers that provide solutions for the areas of furniture, windows, plumbing, automotive and industry. Globally, the company has 20,000 employees in 54 countries.

Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo attended the inauguration of the plant and highlighted that the company exports its products to the United States and Canada, for clients such as Herman Miller, Mobel and Ikea.

Veit Wagner, Global CEO of Rehau, said that the expansion is a source of satisfaction for generating more jobs for the people of Guanajuato.

"The state of Guanajuato has already accumulated more than US$7 billion in investments during the current six-year term, which speaks of the confidence of many companies that, like REHAU, continue to invest in Guanajuato," said the governor.

Rodríguez Vallejo thanked the executives, especially Veit Wagner, Global CEO of REHAU, and Thomas Troeger, CEO for the Americas, for always trusting in Guanajuato and its Apaseo El Grande plant.
