Resilience is a factor to boost Mexico in the aerospace sector

MEXICO - With resilience, Mexico has the opportunity to become a power in the aerospace sector, said Saúl Pedraza Gómez, Director of Operations at Alabama Aerospace.

During the webinar, titled "Resilience, a decisive factor in the aeronautical industry", organized by the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA), the executive said that the country can definitely become a power in the industry.

Although this sector is very young, the Mexican market is growing exponentially and this has been clearly seen with the nearshoring where world powers see Mexico as a supplier of services and products.

This, he said, is what will allow the country to position itself as a global power in the aerospace sector.

"But for this, an analysis must be made between each of the actors in the sector: looking at it from our work, as managers, how resilient we can be to overcome barriers," Pedraza Gómez said.

But for this, he mentioned, an analysis must be made between each of the actors in the sector: "looking at it from our work, as managers, how resilient we can be to overcome barriers," he said.

He mentioned that Mexican workers are recognized worldwide as being very adaptable to change, innovative and have that "spark to solve problems at the right time", which can be a determining factor for the country's development in this area.
