Roche to invest $US27 million in Mexico

MEXICO — The pharmaceutical company Roche will invest about US$27 million in Mexico by 2021, reported Daniele Galbiatti, director of clinical research for the firm in the country.

The director explained that this year an amount of US$13 million will be allocated regarding clinical research, an amount that represents an increase of 0.7% compared to the capital invested in 2019.

"By 2021 we have around US$13 or US$14 million planned for clinical research in Mexico," said Galbiatti. She added that 45% of the capital allocated for this year is focused on oncology research and the rest corresponds to other medical areas.
