SAMA & Mexico Industry sign agreement between Mexico & Texas

In order to strengthen ties between the manufacturing communities of Mexico and the United States, Mexico Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the San Antonio Manufacturers Association (SAMA), one of the most influential and long-standing manufacturing organizations in Texas.

The agreement was signed during SAMA’s monthly meeting, with the participation of Dan Yoxall, president and CEO of SAMA, and Sergio Gracia, president and CEO of Mexico Industry, ProTexas Industry, and ProMexico Industry.

The agreement establishes a collaborative relationship between the two organizations with the aim of boosting the visibility of SAMA and its members among business organizations and companies in Mexico.

The alliance recognizes the growing importance of North American productive integration and the need to create greater opportunities for communication among companies, industry organizations, economic developers, clusters, suppliers, and manufacturing leaders in both countries.

As part of the agreement, both organizations will work to promote joint initiatives, share success stories, cover industry events, develop specialized content, and create networking opportunities for their respective business communities.

Additionally, the agreement provides for collaboration on issues related to advanced manufacturing, supply chains, talent development, reshoring, foreign investment, international trade, and regional economic growth.
