SigmaTron’s Tijuana facility achieves ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification

Full service EMS provider SigmaTron International announced its facility in Tijuana, Mexico and associated purchasing operations in Union City, California have been certified to ISO/TS 16949:2009.

This standard, in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008, defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development, production and, when relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products.

“Mexico has seen significant growth in its automotive market over the last decade and we have automotive-related business already in the facility. Investing in this quality certification enhances our ability to attract customers in this segment,” said via press release Curtis Campbell, Vice President of Sales, West Coast Operations, Sigmatron.
