Spain-based Global Energy Services to build 244 MW wind farm in Nuevo Leon

Global Energy Services (GES), a Spain-based developer of infrastructure for renewable energy projects announced that coming September it will start the construction of a new wind farm in the municipality of China, Nuevo Leon in Northern Mexico.

The wind farm will have an installed capacity of 244 MW and will be able to generate 850GWh/y, which will reduce the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 390,000 tons every year.

GES will be in charge of the civil works, including the 83 foundations and platforms, 52 km of roads, supply and construction of the met masts and the medium voltage grid.

The company currently works in the construction of additional projects for 200 MW in Mexico. A country in which the company has a long experience. During the last past ten years, GES has constructed 1.1 GW of wind energy, said the company in a statement.
