Tere Jimenez encourages cooperation between Aguascalientes and Portugal

AGUASCALIENTES - In an effort to strengthen international relations, Tere Jiménez, governor of Aguascalientes, met with Manuel Carvalho, ambassador of Portugal in Mexico.

During the meeting, both leaders agreed to collaborate in various sectors, including trade, investment, culture and tourism.

This dialogue underscores Aguascalientes' commitment to its global presence and its intention to strengthen ties with Portugal.

Governor Jiménez highlighted Aguascalientes' readiness to excel globally, pointing to the training of students in information technology and the state's rich culture as key pillars.

For his part, Manuel Carvalho expressed his enthusiasm for promoting the bilateral relationship, highlighting the security and modernity of Aguascalientes as keys to its good economic activity.

The meeting was also attended by Gloria Romo Cuesta and Esaú Garza de la Vega, secretaries of Tourism and Economic Development respectively, underlining the importance of this joint effort.
