The 2026 Corvette arrives in Mexico

Chevrolet announced the launch of the 2026 Corvette lineup in Mexico, which includes, for the first time, the ZR1X—the fastest Corvette to date—as well as the Stingray Z51, Z06, and ZR1 models, which feature a completely redesigned interior and the signature performance of the American hypercar.

The Corvette ZR1X features an electrified hybrid system with a total of 1,250 hp, plug-free electrified all-wheel drive (eAWD), acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in under 2 seconds, and a quarter-mile time of under 9 seconds.

The model retains the iconic mid-engine design that characterizes the C8 generation; in Mexico, the Corvette ZR1 and ZR1X come standard with the ZTK Performance and Carbon Aero aerodynamic packages, which include side skirts, underbody deflectors, a Gurney flap, and a rear wing, generating up to 1,200 pounds of downforce.

It also incorporates driver- and performance-focused technologies, such as real-time data on power, torque, G-forces, tire temperature and pressure, and vital drivetrain data; and OnStar with a 3-year Essentials package—the most comprehensive in terms of technology and connectivity—as well as unlimited data for the same period.

General Motors is driving the future of mobility, leveraging advanced technology to produce safer, smarter sedans, pickups, and SUVs with lower emissions.
