Thor Urbana Leases 350,000 ft² to Cadrex in Apodaca
Thor Urbana, a leading real estate development and investment firm in Mexico, has announced a new 10-year lease agreement for 350,000 ft² with Cadrex, a U.S.-based specialty manufacturing company that serves sectors such as data center infrastructure, aerospace, and medical devices.
With this agreement, 100% of the 450,000 ft² of leasable space at TU Park Apodaca I has been leased in less than a year since its opening. The contract is part of Thor Urbana’s ongoing commitment to Nuevo León, where TU Park Apodaca I and TU Park Apodaca II represent a combined investment of nearly US$189 million.
Located in the Apodaca corridor, along one of the main routes connecting Monterrey International Airport and the city, the park has dedicated all of its space to international companies that integrate advanced manufacturing, technology, and high-value-added activities.
The addition of Cadrex brings a regional-scale manufacturing facility to the park.
Similarly, Thor Urbana is moving forward with TU Park Apodaca II, which will feature 1.6 million square feet of leasable space distributed across seven Class A facilities. The project aims to expand the company’s presence in the Apodaca corridor and its offering of spaces specifically designed for manufacturing and logistics.
With these two developments, Thor Urbana is consolidating its presence in one of the country’s leading manufacturing corridors, while continuing to follow a model based on the selection of strategic locations, product quality, disciplined execution, and long-lasting relationships with its tenants
