Toyota to restart operations until April 20th

MEXICO— Due to COVID-19 and the declining vehicle demand, Toyota will extend the blackout dates for all of its North American auto and component manufacturing plants, including Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Manufacturing plants will be closed until April 17th, restarting operations on April 20th, 2020.
On the other hand, Toyota stressed that parts distribution centers and vehicle logistics centers will continue to operate in order to meet the needs of its customers. However, the automaker clarified that they will continue to "monitor the situation and will take the appropriate measures in a timely manner."
