Transportes UTEP joins to promote environmental initiatives

Transportes UTEP San Luis Potosi participated in “Volunteers in AXION 2026,” an initiative launched by the TRAXION Foundation that brought together more than 4,500 volunteers in 18 states across the country to carry out social and environmental projects.
As part of the community activities in the state, members of the San Luis Potosi operation visited the "Manuel Jose Othon" Elementary School, where more than 190 volunteers carried out renovation and maintenance work with the support of the school community.
In addition, they joined a reforestation effort in the Bajio region alongside teams from Queretaro and Guanajuato. This initiative brought together 80 volunteers, who helped plant approximately 350 trees.
The restoration of natural spaces was supported by partners such as Grupo Mexico and ReforestACCION, organizations that provided assistance with conservation efforts as part of the activities promoted by the TRAXION Foundation.
Through its participation in this national initiative, Transportes UTEP San Luis Potosi joined a volunteer effort that brought together staff from different departments, partners, and communities to address social and environmental needs in various regions of Mexico.
