Traxión receives the first CE Electric bus

MEXICO - LiPU, a passenger transportation company of the Traxion group of companies, marked a milestone in the transportation industry by receiving the first 100% electric and zero emissions bus in Mexico, model CE Electric from International, which will be tested in real operating conditions for school and personnel transportation.

This step forward reflects the firm strategy and commitment of Traxion and its companies with sustainability and care for the planet, while positioning LiPU at the forefront of the sector, by driving innovation and contributing to reduce the impact of global warming.

"This step reaffirms and strengthens Traxion's strategy, which has led us to position ourselves as leaders in the People Mobility, school and personal transportation segment", said Elias Dana, general director of the People Mobility division of Traxion.

The bus, with capacity for 44 passengers in reclining seats, stands out for its autonomy of up to 210 kilometers, three levels of regenerative brakes and a body designed to ensure maximum safety and comfort in the transportation of users.

"Having the privilege of testing and operating the first electric unit for this division, reaffirms Traxion's commitment to remain at the forefront in constantly seeking alternatives and solutions for the care of the environment through the reduction of emissions," added the executive.

This action by LiPU and Traxion not only underlines their leadership in the advance towards a cleaner and more sustainable mobility, but also establishes an important precedent in the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies in public and private transportation in Mexico.
